On March 27, Fujian Southeast Shipyard, a subsidiary of Fujian Shipbuilding, signed a contract with Malaysian shipowner Orkim Sdn Bhd for the construction of two 14,500 DWT product tankers. These vessels are designed to meet high environmental standards and will transport refined oils. This marks the second collaboration between Orkim and Fujian Shipbuilding.
The product tankers are optimized for better performance and adhere to the latest industry regulations. Fujian Shipbuilding also secured other contracts, including a 79.8-meter tuna seine vessel for Pan Pacific Fisheries, strengthening its presence in maritime construction
